Our Story
Shimei Water Treatment Ltd was founded to bring something simple but rare to the Kenyan water market: purification systems that are properly sized, properly installed, and properly supported. Too often, families pay for filters that don't suit their water. Refill entrepreneurs invest in plants that fail in the first year. Schools and hospitals discover, the hard way, that "industrial" can mean very different things from one supplier to the next.
We started Shimei to do this differently. We design every system around the customer's actual raw water, actual daily demand, and actual end-use. We use components we trust. We install, commission, and stay involved — because a water plant is a long-term relationship, not a one-time sale.
